Band saws are cutting tools that create precise, continuous cuts in materials ranging from wood to hardened steel. They feature a long-toothed metal blade and multiple wheels that rotate along the same plane, driving the blade. Due to the blade's fixed position, it's easy to reorient workpieces to achieve irregular cuts that other types of saws can't create.
One of the major advantages of band saws is that they're easy to use while offering maximum tool control. When it comes to cutting metal, they work much faster than other types of saws, such as jigsaws. They also allow you to alternate between minimum and maximum blade speeds without sacrificing the blade's lifespan.
At Grob Inc., we offer high-performing band saws, guides, and holders suitable for any metal-cutting need. Our equipment is built to withstand heavy-duty usage and deliver reliable performance year after year.
